Marinate
December 24, 2009
Inspired by Chef Shawn Kocher at LewdFood, and my love of seeing my own thoughts in print, I am starting this blog.
I have absolutely no creative or artistic talent, yet I still yearn to express some creativity. Thank god for food. Eating it is great, but creating things you can eat is even better. Better still is sharing them with people so that they may enjoy what you do and praise you profusely. Maybe I am an artist.
Anyhoo, this blog will feature stuff I cook, my own recipes and ones I steal. They’re better in my hands anyway. If you’re going to try my recipes, make sure you get the following – as most of my food contains:
- Basil
- Garlic
- Garlic
- Red Pepper
- Love. Just kidding…More Garlic.
Let’s get cookin’s.
You never lacked in creativity and cooking has been in the family for generations.
Agree with Anthony – cooking runs in the family! I am currently going through a Thai – panasian cooking phase
But I think traditional Greek food is the most challenging to create, as one needs to be a master of using clove, cinnamon, bay leaf and other spices…
Sounds really good, and as a dietitian myself I offer to provide my “nice” comments here and there regarding the food value etc…..
So far I vote thumbs up for the above ingerdients.
